How is Dandy Blend Made

Original Dandy Blend and Organic Dandy Blend look like fine, instant coffee granules and quickly dissolve in hot and cold water, or other beverage you prefer. The result is a full bodied, non-acidic drink which tastes very similar to coffee although people do have varying tastes. Adjust the amount used to arrive at your favorite taste.

Dandy Blend may provide an energy boost to some so use caution when having a cup before bedtime.

Our Original Dandy Blend is made from a water extract of roasted dandelion roots, roasted chicory roots, roasted barley, and rye. All four plant ingredients in Original Dandy Blend are sourced in Poland where GMO crops are not allowed. Organic Dandy Blend is made from a water extract of organic dandelion roots, organic chicory roots, organic barley, and organic rye. All Organic Dandy Blend plants are also grown on Polish farms where GMO crops are not allowed by law.

We offer both Original Dandy Blend and Organic Dandy Blend. All of our products are kosher, vegan, and vegetarian. We use just plants and nothing else in the creation of our products.

All the inulin in the dandelion root, and 40% of the inulin in the chicory root is converted to fructose. This gives Dandy Blend its sweetness while retaining fiber in the beverage.

1. All ingredients are dried and roasted separately.

2. They are then combined in the proper proportions, and allowed to steep in a hot-water filled vat.

3. The water, and the water-soluble portions of the ingredients, is drained off leaving behind the grounds.

4. The grounds with all the water-insoluble substances, are composted.

5. The water extract is spray dried. The resulting powder is Dandy Blend.
