EXAU is the result of nearly 100 years of family tradition, founded in 2017 by husband and wife team Giuseppe and Skyler to bring premium Italian extra virgin olive oil to North American kitchens. Our Italian olive oil reflects a perfect blend of modern culinary needs and generations of Southern Italian culture. For almost a century, our family has grown olives on estates along the Ionian coast, where rich soil and a Mediterranean climate create ideal conditions for high-quality olive oil from Italy. Each fall, we harvest and cold extract our olives, producing fresh, aromatic, and polyphenol rich olive oil.

The Lina is a tribute to Giuseppe’s mother, honoring our family's legacy. Produced from 10-year-old Coratina trees that thrive in Calabria’s unique microclimate, just 4 kilometers from the sea, these trees benefit from natural wind currents that aid in pollination. The result is an Italian extra virgin olive oil with a distinctive terroir, capturing the essence of Calabria’s coastal landscape. Coratina olives, originally from Puglia, flourish in Calabria’s mild coastal climate, producing a well-balanced, high-quality olive oil.
