Using sustainable agricultural practices, they hand-harvest the olives to ensure the highest polyphenol content. - HIGHLY RATED AND AWARD-WINNING: Our high polyphenol extra virgin olive oil is highly rated, receiving multiple gold and silver awards for health and nutrition from the World Olive Center for Health. The beneficial health effects of our polyphenol-rich olive oil are currently being studied at the University of Minnesota and Rush University in Chicago. The flavor and smell of our olive oil have also been widely praised as some of the highest-quality extra virgin olive oil on the market. - SUGGESTED USE: Our high polyphenol extra virgin olive oil is powerful with a strong flavor profile and designed to be used therapeutically. We recommend taking a tablespoon in the morning or evening and diluting it with water or juice. You could also consume it with bread or your favorite food. Are there any other oils mixed in?
No! There is nothing in here but high polyphenol, cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil.
Where are your olives sourced from?
Our high polyphenol extra virgin olive oil is derived from Koroneiki olives carefully grown in a multi-generational family orchard in the village of Iklena in the Messenia region of Greece.
Is this product organic?
The olives for our 1200+ EVOO are USDA Certified Organic and grown using Phase 3 practices with no chemicals. The olive grove sits in a protected area atop a small village in Iklena, cultivated over eight decades to produce exceptional oil.
Can I cook with this olive oil?
We recommend using this olive oil as a therapeutic oil. Consume one tablespoon in the morning or at night and dilute it with water or a beverage of your choice. You can also eat it with bread or food. This olive oil should not be heated.
What is milling and malaxation and why is it important?
The whole harvest and milling process takes 2-3 weeks. The olives are cold-pressed below 27°C (80°F) to preserve polyphenols. Precise temperature and malaxation ensure nutrient-rich olive oil with vitamin E, hydroxytyrosol, and oleocanthal.
