Tea merchants in Paris since 1692 when King Louis the 14th, granted Sire Damame the exclusive right to sell tea in France.

In 1949, Jean Jumeau-Lafond joins the business. He becomes company director alongside Robert Dammann. Tea is now the company's sole trade.

In 1925 the brothers Robert and Pierre Dammann founded the Dammann Freres trading company.

Today the third generation of master tea specialists continue the tradition to pursue their passion to the pursuit of a perfect cup of tea.
