How are we able to deliver and maintain freshness for 18 months?

We seal each individual pouch with a breath of natural nitrogen, which drives out any oxygen and moisture and thus creates an inner atmosphere conducive to freshness.

Are the filter bags OK for the environment?

Yes. The filter pouch that holds the coffee is made from sustainable material based on the ISO14001 standard, and the hangers are recyclable.

Are Tribo Coffees considered 'specialty grade?'

Yes. All Tribo Coffees adhere to SCA standards. We only use high quality Arabica coffees. Our coffees score 80+ when graded by professionals. During roasting our beans are free of defects. All Tribo Coffees are clean, consistent and flavorful.

My cups and mugs are slightly bigger than typical ones. Do you have any brewing recommendations for me?

Yes, we recommend that you fold the hangers for greater stability. See listing photo for reference.

Can I steep the filter like a tea bag?

We don't recommend steeping the filters like tea bags. The grind size has been calculated to match a traditional pour over brewing process You will brew delcious cups everytime with approximately 200ml of water at a temp of 92C/197F.
