100% Acai (no citric acid) - Our organic Acai powder starts out as Brazil grown, fresh, whole acai berries. They are harvested, de-seeded, then frozen within 24 hours of being harvested so there is no need for preservatives such as citric acid. Lastly, they get freeze-dried, powdered, and packaged.

At about 1/5th the weight of a plastic (HDPE) jar and 1/20th the weight of a glass jar, the pouch has up to a 5x lower carbon footprint than both a glass and plastic bottle (taking into account carbon emissions from production, transportation, and disposal).
