Anna Pasta is produced and packaged in Italy using the traditional methods of pasta production, yet still provides the best consumer value. Heat oil over medium heat in a medium saucepan. Saute onion until translucent, then add garlic and saute until gently browned. Pour in tomatoes and season with salt, pepper and basil to taste, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for approximately 20 minutes, or until desired consistency is achieved. If a thinner consistency is desired, gradually add small amounts of water.

Prepare pasta according to package directions. Pour sauce over cooked pasta and toss until pasta is evenly coated and top with cheese. Serves 6.
