High Altitude Single Origin Specialty Coffee. Benefits Real Talk Youth Impact Program

- This whole bean coffee is a special collaboration project between Tesoros Del Pais and Real Talk Youth Impact program of Las Vegas. Real Talk is a youth program that is designed to make great community leaders and inspire teenagers to make the right choices.
- A portion of all proceeds of sales goes to support the Real Talk Youth Impact Program of Las Vegas, Nevada. Thank you for your support!
- We roast all of this coffee in small batches, in house. We started doing this very recently in 2025 to control the production process and quality. Each bag you buy will have been freshely roasted and you will be able to tell. Each bag also has a production date sticker on the bottom with notes on the roast.
- This is a single origin coffee. Generally when that term is used, it can mean a single region, different farms. In this case, its one very specific farm. This is a very special batch, which we worked on for a year. This batch was rated a cupping score of 86 which on a scale of 1-100 is very high. Only specialty coffees generally score over an 80, while most regular store brands are around a 60. A cupping score accounts for various factors such as body, acidity, balance, aroma and flavor.
- This is a strictly high altitude coffee. When coffee plants grow at high altitude, they grow more slowly which is less profitable for producers as there are more infrequent harvests. The beans of a high altitude crop have a lot richer and more complex flavor as they develop when compared with a cheaper, low altitude bean.
- Tesoros Del Pais High Altitude blend from Achuapan, El Salvador is a light roast, high caffeine coffee in whole fresh roasted coffee beans . They are roasted in small batches to ensure the freshest product and an unbelievable aroma.
- El Salvador coffee is some of the best in the world. The unique climate, tropical and humid, but with high altitude and rich soil volcanic slopes is not like many places on earth. If you ever have the opportunity to try the coffee there, you just cannot go back to regular store blends.

Product description

Real Talk Youth Impact Program

From Prison to Coffee Dreams: The Journey of Tesoros Del Pais

Indulge in the perfect cup of freshly brewed coffee that awakens your senses and starts your day on a flavorful note.

Light roast, bright taste, stone fruit flavor with a light peach acidity.

Dare to discover new treasures with every sip

A portion of all proceeds goes to the Real Talk Youth Impact Program of Nevada, which aims to build future community leaders. Founded in 2012 by Sheree Corniel, the program was joined by our founder Eric after his release from federal prison. Despite their unlikely alliance as a former probation officer and a convicted felon, they both recognized the urgent need for change in a flawed system that perpetuates crime. Real Talk operates in Las Vegas and El Salvador, empowering future leaders through business education in challenging environments.

My name is Eric. In 2005, I was sentenced to federal prison for money laundering and given a lengthy sentence for not cooperating. Prison felt like the end, surrounded by violence and despair. But I started dreaming of a different future, envisioning myself as a successful global entrepreneur. I met Robert, a fellow inmate, and discussed creating an international business. After my release, I faced hardships rebuilding my life, from homelessness to multiple jobs, working towards my original goal. I joined a youth program to help guide kids away from the path I took. Despite pandemic setbacks, I started a specialized food distribution business in 2020. Reconnecting with Robert, we ventured into coffee exportation in El Salvador. It was a challenging and costly journey, but with the support of many, including master roaster Jon Sanders and my team at TDP Specialties, we overcame obstacles. Now, we are ready to share our coffee, Tesoros Del Pais, with the world.

https://freshmart1.com/products/tesoros-del-pais-el-salvador-fresh-light-roast-whole-bean-coffee-1-kilogram-35-ounce-bag-high-altitude-single-origin-specialty-coffee-benefits-real-talk-youth-impact-program
